Floripondio SL28, Bolivia
Best Suited for Filter
Tasting Notes of Strawberries & Cream and Orange Blossom
Some coffees don’t just arrive, they make an entrance, and this special release SL28 from the Rodríguez family is one of them. Perched high in Bolivia’s Samaipata region, the Rodríguez family have turned Finca Floripondio into a hub of innovation, showcasing the SL28 varietal through bold experimentation and precise processing. For this microlot, cherries were dried in their skins using the “Coco Natural” method, amplifying fruit vibrancy, clarity, and sweetness.
The result is an unforgettable cup. Roasted for filter, it’s fragrant with orange blossom, layered with the nostalgic sweetness of strawberries and cream lollies, and silky smooth to the finish. This is coffee at its most exciting: expressive, surprising, and deeply memorable. The Rodríguez family continue to push boundaries at Floripondio, and this lot is proof of just how special their work can be.
