São Judas Tadeu, Brazil
Best Suited for Filter
Tasting Notes of Orange and Hazelnut
With over 40 years of experience, it’s safe to say that Antônio and Terezinha Rigno seriously know their stuff. At São Judas Tadeu, nestled in Brazil’s celebrated Piatã region, they’ve spent decades producing exceptional coffee with precision, generosity, and heart. The Rignos have helped shape the region’s reputation, mentoring fellow producers, sharing their facilities, and championing quality at every turn. We’ve been lucky to work with them for several years now, and their coffees are always standouts. This year’s lot is no exception: smooth and structured, with soft citrus brightness and a comforting nutty sweetness. Roasted for filter, expect notes of orange and hazelnut, with a clean, rounded finish. Easy to drink and even easier to enjoy. A beautiful expression of Brazilian coffee at its best, from producers we deeply admire.
