Kenya in Kirinyaga County, Samuga Estate is a small but mighty farm owned and operated by Peter Munene Gachuiri and his father, Stephen. With bright red, nutrient-rich volcanic soil, and cool mountain air, Samuga has perfect conditions for producing complex, flavour-packed coffee.
The Gachuiri family has spent years fine-tuning their craft, carefully managing every step from cultivation to processing onsite to bring out the best in their coffee. Their dedication shines in this AB lot, made up of medium sized beans selected for their balance and clarity. Handpicked cherries are carefully processed using the washed method, enhancing the coffee’s crisp acidity, refined structure, and natural sweetness.
The result is a vibrant yet delicate cup that’s juicy, clean, and beautifully layered. Silky, balanced and downright delightful.
