Tasting Notes of Blueberry and Baker’s Chocolate
Gandula means “ball boy” in Portuguese, a nickname earned by Ednaldo Nascimento as a talented, football-loving kid, long before he became Head of Quality at Fazenda Progresso. These days, Ednaldo brings the same energy and precision to coffee, curating this vibrant microlot each year as a passion project. Produced with the Borré family, at their beautiful farm in Brazil’s Chapada Diamantina mountain range, Gandula is all about flavour, clarity, and character. We’ve had the pleasure of sharing this coffee a few times now, and it always delivers. Processed using the natural method, expect plump blueberry sweetness, layered over velvety baker’s chocolate. Roasted for filter, it’s smooth, moreish, comforting, and classic. A returning favourite for good reason, produced by people we love working with.
