Cruzado Vasquez, Peru
Best Suited for Espresso
Tasting Notes of Blood Orange and Soft Serve
Complex blood orange sweetness meets a velvety swirl of nostalgic soft serve in this beautifully balanced Peruvian espresso. Grown in the highlands of Tabaconas, Cajarmarca, this washed lot is produced by members of the Asociación de Cafetaleros La Gran Reserva, a collection of producers dedicated to pushing quality with every harvest. This lot is made up of carefully selected traditional varieties, handpicked for ripeness before being blended into a regional lot that showcases the best of the area.
Carefully selected cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness, dry-fermented for 16 hours, then gently washed and patio dried to create a cup that’s clean, vibrant, and beautifully structured. Roasted for espresso, expect juicy blood orange layered over melt-in-your-mouth vanilla soft serve. Sweet, silky, and a little bit nostalgic.
