Tropical, velvety, and vibrant, Bulaago Natural is a standout expression of Ugandan coffee. Grown high on the slopes of Mt Elgon, this lot comes from more than 200 smallholder farmers working in an isolated mountain community. The landscape is rich and fertile, but reaching it is no small feat. With steep terrain and limited road access, coffee is often transported by motorcycle down rugged paths, a journey that speaks to the care and determination behind every cup.

Under the guidance of site manager Kasim, quality and consistency have flourished. In the cup, tropical fruit sweetness shines first, unfolding into velvety milk chocolate depth and a smooth, rounded finish. Roasted for espresso, it is lush, layered, and beautifully complex. A coffee that balances brightness with warmth, and captures the spirit of the community that produced it.
