This sweet and expressive filter coffee comes from Léonardo Henao, Director of Coffee at Pergamino and a long-time collaborator of ours. We’ve worked closely with Pergamino for years, and have long admired Léo’s thoughtful, hands-on approach to quality. This Chiroso lot was grown and processed at El Jardín, the farm owned by Léo and his wife Jenny in Antioquia. Named after the garden of Epicurus, El Jardín reflects Léo’s belief in sharing knowledge and growing with community. After years working across Colombia’s coffee regions as a producer, buyer, cupper, and fermentation scientist, Léo brings deep expertise and a spirit of generosity to every step. This washed lot is a beautiful expression of Léo’s approach. Roasted for filter, it’s all about golden syrup sweetness, juicy tangerine acidity, with a clean, balanced finish.
