Julio Palli, Bolivia
Best Suited for Espresso
Tasting Notes of Raspberry and Brown Sugar
Julio Palli and Lupe Medina have been farming at Finca San Bartolomé for over two decades, turning inherited land into something seriously special. Nestled in the mountainous Caranvi region, the farm sits at high elevations with rich soil and wide daily temperature swings—ideal growing conditions, and it shows. Since joining the Sol de la Mañana program in 2016, the couple have seen real transformation—improving both quality and yield while building something sustainable for the future.
This washed lot is a reflection of their care and experience. Roasted for espresso, it’s sweet, structured and layered with complexity. Think juicy raspberry brightness, brown sugar through the finish, and a silky, lingering texture that brings it all together. Big on flavour and beautifully expressive. It’s our kind of espresso.
