This washed lot from the Jigesa washing station in Ethiopia’s Guji zone is a beautiful showcase of balance and sweetness. Produced by around 500 smallholder farmers and processed by Testi Coffee as part of their Premium Cherry Selection initiative, it’s a coffee that glows with clarity and warmth. The Guji region is known for its high elevations and rich, fertile soils, where slow cherry maturation creates distinctive sweetness and depth. Careful washing and drying at Jigesa bring out a golden, fruit-driven profile. In the cup, you’ll find juicy yellow peach meeting smooth caramel depth, a syrupy body, and a silky, polished finish. Roasted for espresso, it’s sweet, layered, and effortlessly enjoyable. Exactly the kind of coffee we love to drink and love to share.
