Tasting Notes of Yellow Peach and Hazelnut
Julio Palli and his wife, Lupe Medina, produce this coffee at their farm, San Bartolomé, in the remote community of Copacabana in Bolivia's Caranavi province. Named after Julio's father, who originally purchased the land, the farm has been in the family for decades. Together, Julio and Lupe have spent more than 25 years nurturing the property, transforming it into a thriving coffee farm and building a reputation for quality through their dedication and hard work.
This lot is a wonderful example of their craft. Delicate notes of yellow peach bring a juicy sweetness to the cup, while hazelnut adds a smooth, comforting richness and lingering finish. The result is a balanced and approachable coffee with juicy fruit sweetness and gentle nutty richness.
