Mandarin brightness and panela sweetness take centre stage in this washed lot from Luis Aníbal Calderón’s Finca Villa Betulia. Based in Acevedo, Huila, Luis has spent more than forty years dedicated to growing coffee, gradually shaping Villa Betulia into one of the region’s most respected farms. His journey has included its share of challenges, but turning toward specialty production proved transformative. Luis began experimenting with new varieties, refining his processing, and placing quality at the heart of his work. Today, his coffees are known for their clarity, balance, and distinctive character. This washed Caturra lot is a return to the classics, offering citrus lift, gentle panela sweetness, and a smooth, rounded body. Roasted for filter, it is bright, comforting, and expressive. A beautiful example of Colombian coffee done well.
