Tade GG

Peach and Bergamot

Tade GG, Ethiopia – Espresso

$20.00$70.00

Flavours of peach and bergamot.

A washed processed lot from the town of Shakiso, in the renowned coffee growing region of Guji, Ethiopia. Tade GG is owned and operated by single producer, Tesfaye Bekele. Extremely passionate about specialty coffee, Tesfaye has travelled extensively throughout Central and South America, learning and adopting the best cultivation and processing methods. Tade GG estate is 221 hectares in size and sits at a staggering altitude of 1,860-1,950masl. The region’s landscape is sharp and rugged with mineral-rich, volcanic soil. Native heritage trees are planted throughout the farm, providing shade for the coffee plants. This mixed varietal lot was hand-harvested and processed at Tesfate’s privately owned washing station. The cherries are pulped and fermented in tanks for 35-48 hours, with their mucilage still attached. The coffee is then fully washed and laid on raised African beds for 9-15 days, being turned regularly to ensure even drying. Sweet and vibrantly floral, this is a seriously pretty coffee.
