A washed processed red bourbon lot from the Kamageri Sector in Rwanda.
This coffee was produced by the Kawanziza Farmer’s Group, who are a collective of smallholder farmers in the rugged hills surrounding the Remera washing station, in Rwanda’s Southern Province. It is common for coffee in Rwanda to be processed as mixed lots from multiple farmers, typically separated by the day in which it is picked, rather than individual farms or groups, which makes a lot like this even more special.
Mineral-rich soil, a lush environment and very careful processing, has resulted in a sweet, delicate coffee.
