This exciting micro-lot was produced by the Nasa Wesx Indigenous community in Gaitania, a small village in the Tolima department. Nestled high in the Andes mountain range, this community lives in close proximity to a large active volcano called Nevado del Huila. Mineral-rich soils, cool climates and staggering elevations all contribute to a perfect environment for coffee cultivation.The Nasa Wesx community takes great care in sustainable production, with this coffee being certified organic. The ripest cherries have been handpicked and sundried on raised beds until the ideal moisture content is reached. This coffee is nothing short of vibrant and complex, with tropical fruit sweetness and sherbert-like acidity.
