La Bugambilia, Guatemala – Espresso
$18.00 – $65.00
Flavours of plum and brown sugar.
A washed processed coffee from Santa Rosa, Guatemala. This coffee was produced at La Bugambilia, one of five plots of land in El Guatalón estate. The estate is owned and operated by third-generation farmer Guillermo Juarez. El Guatalón was established in 1920 and was the first coffee plantation in the region. Many different coffee varieties are grown throughout the estate. This particular lot is made up of caturra and marsellesa. La Bugambilia sits at an elevation of 1,450-1,850m above sea level and is surrounded by deep forest, providing shade coverage for the coffee plants. This is an ideal growing environment, as the fruit ripens slower, resulting in a very sweet and balanced cup.
