A washed processed coffee from San Ignacio, Cajamarca in northern Peru. This coffee was produced by several small-scale growers who are committed to improving coffee quality, sustainability and creating an ethical standard of living for their community. El Guayacan is grown at an altitude of 1,600-2,100masl and consists of caturra, typica, and bourbon varieties. This coffee is named after the Guayacan tree, a large yellow flowering tree that provides shade and protection to many coffee plants throughout northern Peru. Brew with your favourite filter method for a well balanced coffee with mandarin acidity and honey sweetness.
