You're Invited

Redbrick is turning 10 and to celebrate we are getting together a few of our local favourites for an evening on the lawns of where it all began.

  • Live music from Lucy Sugarman and JEP
  • Meatball subs (veg option available) and tiramisu
  • Pop-up bar pouring Canberra region wine & beer
  • Jasper & Myrtle Gelato

It’s almost a decade since we first opened our doors in Curtin. When we started, we wanted to create a space where we could form a connection between specialty coffee and the community, a place outside of the city where good coffee could be enjoyed everyday.

We knew we’d found the space when we walked into the vacant tenancy on the sunny side of the Curtin shops. Abundant in natural light, exposed red bricks throughout and the gentle hum of the Curtin community.

Coffee was the focus, but very quickly our corner espresso bar and Roastery took on a life of its own. We were honoured to become the place you chose to start your day, to take a break, and to catch up with friends. Over time, we’ve opened four more distinctly different stores – Makeshift in the heart of New Acton, our Roastery in Fyshwick, Clay the inner North local, and most recently, Arc. Each new location, whether one of our own stores or through a local business serving our coffee, has brought a new opportunity to connect with the people of Canberra and to continue to do what we love most – roasting and sharing coffee.

It’s been a wonderful journey so far and we’d love to celebrate with you, so bring your dog, bring a rug, and head to our Fyshwick store on Friday the 10th of December.
